“Social Skills for Students with Disabilities” to be Addressed at Parent Meeting

The FSSD Special Education department is hosting a series of support meetings for parents of students with disabilities. The purpose of these meetings is to increase parent understanding of special education, improve dialog between school and home, and increase parental involvement in the schools. Working together, we hope to improve services for students with disabilities and increase student achievement.

The first meeting for the 2016-17 school year is Tuesday, November 1, from 6:30-7:30 PM at Franklin Elementary School Media Center, 1501 Figuers Drive. This meeting will focus on social skills for students with disabilities. Child care is available.
