Book Dedications
book dedication documentLiberty Library Birthday and Book Dedication Information

Donating a book to your child’s school library is a wonderful way to celebrate a special event such as a birthday.   We maintain a collection of books from which students can choose a favorite to be dedicated in their honor. Simply complete the form below and return it along with a check for $12 written to LES to school with your child (in a sealed envelope addressed to Library if you’d like to keep it a surprise).  Your child will then be called to come choose a book from our new books and we will catalog the book with a book plate including your dedication information. The book is then announced on our morning television show, WLES, and your child is the first to get to check out the book. You are also welcome to choose any hardcover, K-4th grade appropriate book from your local bookstore or online and send it in for the same dedication process.  Because cataloging books can sometimes take us a few days, we ask for a week’s notice before your child’s birthday to complete the process.
