Next week, our students will begin taking the TNReady assessments in English Language Arts (ELA), Science, and Math and the field test in Social Studies. The testing window is April 17—May 5.
The assessments for each subject will be administered over several days. Please see the information that was sent home from your school to learn more about your child’s grade level testing schedule.
The Tennessee Department of Education has posted resources on its web site that are designed to help foster a greater understanding about TNReady, the state testing program for students in grades 3-12. These guides walk through many of the questions we have heard from parents and outline the changes, particularly to the timing and structure, that have been made for the upcoming school year. - TNReady Parent Guide and guides for parents of students with disabilities and other parent resources may be found on the Department of Education website.
On this website you will also find information about testing times and a link to Frequently Asked Questions. If users are not able to find the information they need, there is a form on that site through which they can submit a question to the State.
