Walk Across Williamson
Did you know that by averaging 60 minutes of physical activity every day during the month of March, a person can walk across Williamson County! From March 1 – 31, 2016, we want our students and their families (ages 4 and up) to record each day the number of minutes they are physically active, including time spent at PE, participating in after-school activities, workouts in the gym, or engaging in active free play with your family. At the end of the month, calculate the total number of minutes each of you were physically active in your Activity Log, and enter your information electronically at Walk Across Williamson online.
Saturday, April 9th, 9:00 a.m.-10 a.m. at:
- Pinkerton Park
- Brentwood Library
- Nolensville Elementary
- Fairview Recreation Department
- Longview Recreation Department in Spring Hill
Registration will begin at 8:30am. Each event will include a fitness demonstration, a one-mile walk, drawings and prize announcements (must be present to win).
